A Seamless Transition

The formal handover took place at the First Bank branch situated opposite the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba. The exercise saw the former account signatories—Pastor Chris Nwaka, Mr. Kennedy Chidi, and Mrs. Priscilla Collins—peacefully transfer control of the Forum’s financial repository to the new administration.

The incoming signatory team comprises:

  • Pastor Sunday Felix Enebuse (President)
  • Mrs. Endurance Peace-Apparels Ubaka (Treasurer/Financial Secretary)
  • Mr. Victor Agwunwa (Secretary)

Financial Records Made Public

In an unprecedented move toward open governance, the new leadership has generated and publicly released the Forum’s official bank statement. According to the document, the Ogbe Unor Development Forum currently holds a balance of ₦1,024,300.15 (One Million, Twenty-Four Thousand, Three Hundred Naira and Fifteen Kobo).

Following an initial review of the financial logs, Pastor Enebuse stated that the current leadership found no evidence of financial mismanagement or misuse of funds by the previous administration.

”Members are encouraged to carefully study the attached account statement and bring forward any observations or questions through the appropriate channels,” the statement signed by the Forum’s Secretary, Mr. Victor Ifechukwude Agwunwa, read.

To assist members with their independent audits, the executive team advised the general assembly to focus their review starting from 2025, specifically tracking the timeline after Mr. Uche Egbue transferred funds from his personal account back into the Forum’s official coffers.
