Those were the activities that heralded a new dispensation, as these men and women, family members, friends, university community, associates and both internal and external publics of the Admiralty University of Nigeria ADUN, Ibusa, converged at the Law Auditorium, to be part of history and witness the seamless transition into the second dispensation and the inauguration of Professor Christopher Bankole Ndubuisi Ogbogbo as the new Vice Chancellor of the University, who’s work plans are to nurture a university that is locally impactful and internationally competitive,with a mission to further consolidate the foundation of Admiralty University of Nigeria ADUN for sustained growth and development.

The Ogwashi Uku born professor of history from University of Ibadan, the immediate past national president, history society of Nigeria, vice president, Association of African historians, fellow, Nigerian Army Resource Center, amongst others sought the cooperation of the staff and other critical stakeholders to enable him deliver on his mandate, while assuring that their interests would be protected at all times.

On the vision of the Admiralty University of Nigeria ADUN of being internationally recognized as an institution with global perspective that meets the dynamic needs of the society by educating luminary leaders who shall embrace value creation for the good of mankind, the new Vice Chancellor of urged his people to seek to reflect the universe in their university by embracing diversity, fostering a global perspective and contributing to the collective knowledge and progress of humanity, reaffirming his commitment to the core values of integrity, honesty and the pursuit of truth that will ultimately result in extending the frontiers of knowledge.

Some of the management staff who were on the high spirits expressed optimism that with Prof Ogbogbo steering the ship, Admiralty University of Nigeria ADUN will not progress in error.

No doubt, as senior member of the Nigerian Bar Association, a scholar that has won several laurels and an astute administrator of international repute, researcher and publisher per excellence with over 90 works in academic journals and books, consultant to several international organizations, and a community development advocate, Admiralty University of Nigeria will continue to soar higher.
