The foremost, Frontline and cleared aspirant for the UGHELLI SOUTH House of Assembly constituency seat, Pst. (Engr.) Uto Peters Elvis has proved the stuff he is made of by disbursing cash prices to young people across the state worth millions of naira.
Engr Uto, who did this on Sunday 1st May 2022 to mark the end of His Heroes-mic-Competition (season 3) said he is passionate on the development and empowerment of young people across the state. He reiterated that the event was to encourage young people to develop themselves in a talent and have an opportunity to get funds to increase their exposure to the international community.
The highlight of the event featured singers, dancers, and other stage performances, with the winners going home with the cash prices of 150,000, and 100,000 respectively.
Engr Elvis Peters Uto while presenting the cash gifts to them stated that the season 4 would be bigger and better, and that being the 3rd season will not be the last but the least.
The grand finale which took place at the state capital, Asaba, attracted prominent sons and daughters of Ughelli South and other Delta indigenes. This indeed is one of the many ways this illustrious son of Ughelli South has made indelible mark in the lives of young people in Delta state.
Speaking after the event, one of the fathers of the beneficiary thanked Engr Uto for wiping away tears from their eyes, adding that the event has made his children to be focused in developing themselves.
He says his family always look forward to every season of the event, and encouraged more Deltans to emulate Pst Uto.
