The resolution was reached at the monthly congress of the chapel in Asaba on Thursday.

The chairman of the chapel, Comrade Dominic Adewole, supported by his Secretary, Comrade Gospel Amaliamifeobu and 41 other members of the chapel, said the appraisal became necessary at a time when most of his colleague governors have pre-occupied themselves with politics of 2023.

He said the consistent high regard the Governor have for traditional institution culminated in the relative peace and development the state has experienced since 2015.

He said, “Delta state government, led by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, is very much concerned about the development of the state. His style of blocking all areas of wastage and financial leakages has largely boosted his ‘SMART agenda’, that metamphosized into ‘Stronger Delta’ vision.

The Chapel Chairman called on the Okowa-led administration to expedite action in the completion of the NUJ Secretariat along Mariam Babagida Way in Asaba.
